Back to the Basics: Furniture and the Future

When you look at the sonogram or the infant it is hard to imagine the 4 or the 7 year-old to be. But it's important that when you consider nursery furniture and/or a baby nursery furniture set you don't forget to consider the growing child. The changing table and the crib will go, but the dresser, the chest of drawers, the armoir, the book shelf - all these can and should grow with your child, particularly if you don't anticipate younger siblings to hand them down to. If you imagine keeping and using these pieces for 10 years or more, spending a few extra dollars for nursery furniture and/or a baby nursery furniture set, can seem more worthwhile.
