Where are we going for the Holidays??  

With the holidays quickly coming upon us, the yearly question of “Where are we going for the holidays?”  has arrived once again!

Why do families tend to go a little over the edge during the holiday season?  It is supposed to be a time when everyone gets together and celebrate our Thanks and/ or our religion, however it can turn into a very stressful couple of months.  It is in my blood to take control and make a decision that everyone must abide by, but that certainly does not make for a peaceful time!

My husband and I have hosted Thanksgiving for the last couple of years but that means that we get to spend it with my in-laws and my mother, not my father.  So to be fair we should spend Christmas with my father, right?  I think so but that typically doesn’t end up happening.

So how do you handle the holidays?  Do you alternate every year?  Every holiday? Or do you have everyone to your house?
